The Agnellis are known as the richest and most powerful families in Italy. Gianni is the head of the Agnelli family he turned postwar Italy into the world's fifth strongest economic nation. Gianni was the head of Fiat auto, Alfa Romeo, Maserati and had a majority of Ferrari. The Agnelli family also has a diversified portfolio which included holdings in Juverntus soccer team, Italy's largest bank Intesa Senpaolo and a real-estate firm the US. Gianna estate is estimated to be between $3 billion and $5 billion dollars. And just like the Kennedys the Agnelli family has drama too. For starters Gianni was a epic playboy and kept many "lady friends" like Jackie Kennedy. Gianni had only two childeren Edoardo and Marherita. Edoardo was a drug addict and died in 2000 of a heroin overdose. Marherita is currently in legal battles with her family over her inheritance and control of the family business apparently the family wants his eldest son John to take the helm of the fiat fortune. So now that you know their history I want to focus on two Arnellis, Gianni's wife Marella and his grandson Lapo. Marella, half-American, half-Neapolitan princess turned model, said to have the most gorgeous neck in the world. Marella was a favorite of Diane Vreeland and was a sample on the pages of vogue. Marella was also admitted to the International Best Dressed List in 1963, she eventually became a Hall of Fame member. She also held the Title of "swan" a title given by Truman Capote's to only the most glamorous , chicest and richest women at that time.

Lapo Elkann is Marherita's youngest son, he is known for two things being a epic playboy like his grandfather and a style icon like his grandmother. He also has a couple skeletons in his closet too. He survived a nearly fatal drug overdose that put him in a coma while in the company of a group of older transsexuals(interesting)lol. But other than that Lapo is a style icon. He was named one of the best-dressed men by vanity fair for the last 2 years. Gotta love it
