As we all sit and wait for Carine's next move I wanted to celebrate Carine's career at French Vogue with her first and last covers at the magazine.
In 2001 Carine choose a very blond Kate Moss shot by Mario Testino to grace to cover of her first issue as Editor and Chief of the magazine.
For her last cover the March 2011 cover, Carine choose model Saskia de Brauw shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott wearing a Givenchy gown from the spring 2011 collection. These two cover represent a career of one of the most power editors in the world of fashion. Carine and her team defined what chic was during her tenure at the magazine.
