Event: The model as muse
This spring the Met's exhibit, organized by the Costume Institute and co chaired Marc Jacobs, Kate Moss and Justin Timberlake, will be called Model As Muse: Embodying Fashion. The exhibit will focus on the influences of the industry's supermodels of the 20th century. The exhibit will highlight the pass 100 years in fashion and the strong relationship between the world of high fashion, the rare creature known as the supermodel. The exhibit will have fashion photography from runway, editorial, and advertising, and video footage of supermodels and over 70 haute couture and runway garments on display. The exhibit will run from May 6th to August 9th 2009. The fun kicks off May 4th will the Annual MET gala.

Now I, personally am not much into wearing timepieces. I have a very nice Tourneau that I never wear but other than that I check the time on my cell phone or ask an attractive stranger for the time. However, I do love and appreciate a gentleman in a nice watch. A few weeks ago my ever on trend best friend, Raul, arrived at my house wearing a bright and shiny Toy watch( Heavy Metal Collection in Gold Heavy Metal). As i knew, Toy watches are all the rage! They're available at all our favorite department stores and they're relatively affordable! Here are a few of my favs I picked out.
